Emily Atkins

Emily Atkins is the current Head of Finance at CareCar. Emily has worked in finance for over 6 years, starting their career as a Qualitative Assistant at Schlesinger Associates. Emily then moved on to QBE North America as a Financial Analyst in their Strategy and Planning department. After two years, they were promoted to Lead Analyst in Corporate Finance at QBE Insurance. In this role, they were responsible for producing ad hoc analysis on a range of initiatives, including reinsurance program proposals, portfolio reviews, capital deployment and operational efficiency. In 2018, Emily was recruited by QBE Asia as their Regional M&A Project Lead and Financial Planning Manager. In this role, they successfully divestment of two entities and developed a governance framework to manage communications and information sharing with the global team and buyers. Emily also supported sell side due diligence and prepared investor materials. After 18 months, Emily returned to their home country of Australia to take on the role of Head of Finance at CareCar.

Emily Atkins has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. John's University. Emily is also a certified CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) from the CFA Institute.

Their manager is Joshua Itano, CEO. Emily Atkins works with Jennifer Gallinger - COO, Micah Lockhart - Marketing and Communications Manager, and Michael Matz - CTO. and Maya Miller - Accounting Director reports to Emily Atkins.
