Mylyn Smith, Esq. has extensive experience in the legal field. Mylyn began their career in 1997 as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. Mylyn then served as the Vice President & General Counsel for Bergen Regional Medical Center from 2001 to 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Associate at Day Pitney LLP. In 2008, they joined Bayer HealthCare as Counsel II (Deputy Director) until 2012. Mylyn then became the Director, Legal at Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Senior Counsel at Travelers. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at CareCentrix, a position they have held since 2016.

Mylyn Smith, Esq. earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Howard University in 1991. Mylyn went on to obtain a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree from Howard University from 1992 to 1994. In 1997, Mylyn Smith graduated from Rutgers Law School with a JD degree in Law. In 1996, they briefly studied International Law and Human Rights at the University of Oxford. In 2009, they obtained a HealthCare Compliance Certification from Seton Hall Law School. Additionally, in 2016, Mylyn Smith received the CT Authorized House Counsel certification from the JUDICIAL BRANCH, STATE OF CONNECTICUT.
