Nycaine Peterkin MD FAAPMR has a strong background in medical directorship and physiatry. Nycaine then obtained a Medical Doctor (MD) degree in Medicine from State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University from 2000 to 2004. Nycaine pursued further specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed internal medicine training at Staten Island University Hospital Northwell Health from 2004 to 2005. Additionally, Nycaine Peterkin MD FAAPMR holds a High School Diploma from Elisabeth Irwin High School (LREI). Nycaine also holds certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute and is a Fellow of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Nycaine is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (AAPM&R).
