Courtney Petersen has had a diverse range of work experience. Courtney is currently working at Synchrony as the AVP Sales Training Programs Go To Market, where they create and delivers sales and leadership training content for various sales teams. Prior to Synchrony, they worked at CareCredit as the Area Vice President, Sales Training Programs, where they delivered sales training for different sales teams and designed Micro-eLearning content. Courtney also held the role of Practice Development Manager/Sales and Training/Regional LEAD at CareCredit, where they worked with numerous accounts in the Dental and Veterinary Space. Courtney has experience as the Founder of SPEAK cosmetics for a Cause and worked as an Area Trainer at Bare Escentuals. Courtney started their career as a Retail Sales Manager at Kendra Scott, followed by a role as an Account Executive at philosophy, and then as a Product Specialist at Neiman Marcus.

Courtney Petersen holds a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Texas State University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University, where they studied from 1997 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Courtney has also pursued additional certifications. Courtney received a certification in Influential Storytelling from Synchrony in December 2021 and a certification as a Trainer from ATD Dallas in June 2018.
