Asad Ali

Asad Ali is a seasoned product manager and data science professional with extensive experience in building data and AI platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager for the Data and AI Platform at Careem since August 2022, Asad leads product teams focused on Events and Analytics, Experimentation, Feature Store, and Machine Learning. Previous roles include Product Manager and Lead Data Scientist at Shopify, and Manager of Data Science & Analytics at Flipp. Asad has also contributed to the community as a career coach for international students at The3Skills and as a guest speaker for the Data Science Certificate program at the University of Toronto. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from McGill University and further studies in Management of Enterprise Data Analytics at the University of Toronto.
