Cihan Eraslan

Cihan Eraslan is an experienced security architect and engineer with a strong background in application security, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management. Currently serving as Staff Security Architect I and Senior Security Architect II at Careem since October 2021, Cihan leads significant programs including DevSecOps and API Security. Prior experience includes leading engineering efforts at arcsec, where Cihan developed SAST software while enhancing product experiences through actionable feedback from market research. Additionally, Cihan held various roles at Kalitek Bilgi Teknolojileri, managing cross-functional teams and implementing application security solutions in major Turkish banks. Cihan's earlier roles include research and development work at Areff Systems AB and software development at BITES, alongside a solid educational foundation with a Master’s in Security Engineering from Blekinge Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Baskent University.
