Hamza Sohail

Hamza Sohail is a software engineer with expertise in data and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Software Engineer II at Careem since July 2023 after progressing from Software Engineer I in the same department. At Careem, Hamza designed and implemented a high-throughput microservice in Golang, capable of handling over 200,000 requests daily to support customer profile data features. Prior experience includes a software developer internship at LumenSoft Technologies in July 2022. Hamza holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (2019-2023), an Intermediate degree in Pre Engineering from Government College University, Lahore (2017-2019), and a Matriculation degree from Crescent Model Higher Secondary School (2015-2017).
