Tauqeer Ahmed

Tauqeer Ahmed is an accomplished cyber security professional with extensive experience in strategy, governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC). Currently serving as a Cyber Security Architect at Careem since June 2022, Tauqeer leads the cyber security strategy and manages a comprehensive cyber risk management program. Prior to Careem, Tauqeer held various senior roles at Systems Limited, including Senior Managing Consultant and Chief Information Security Officer, where responsibilities included developing information security visions and implementing governance frameworks. Additional experience spans across establishing Security Operation Centers, conducting penetration testing, and advising on cloud security initiatives, supported by a Master’s Degree in Information Security and an MBA from Maastricht School of Management.
