Ryan Johnston is an experienced educator and IT professional with a diverse background in teaching and technology. Since May 2016, Ryan has served as an Information Technology, Business, and Financial Management Teacher at C-TEC of Licking County, focusing on courses in information technology, financial management, strategic entrepreneurship, and marketing. Prior to this role, Ryan worked as an IT Consultant for K&W Roofing, where responsibilities included network management, installation, and data recovery services, as well as serving as a Remote Support Engineer and Advanced Repair Agent at Best Buy. Ryan has also taught mathematics at various educational institutions, including Southwest Licking Schools and Zenith Academy, earning recognition for effectiveness in teaching. Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from The University of Findlay and a degree in Integrated Mathematics from Ohio University.

At C-TEC we help our students make successful transitions, regardless of their stage in life. Our mission is clear: ”provide all learners with academic and technical skills needed for career opportunities and continuous learning.” The majority of tomorrow’s jobs will require people to have technical training. The technical curriculum at C-TEC's High School and Adult Education Center prepares students to enter the workforce and/or a two or four-year college degree programs. In addition to our High School and Adult Education Center, C-TEC offers Customized Training to local employers to assure that their employees have the technical skills necessary to succeed. Customized Training is available around the clock on and off-site.
