Maria Chen, CFA, has a comprehensive work experience in the field of corporate development and M&A. Maria currently holds the position of Director of Corporate Development at Career Certified since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Corporate Development at The CE Shop starting in 2021. Maria also has experience as a Senior Manager and Senior Analyst in M&A at OpenText from 2017 to 2021. Before joining OpenText, they worked as a Financial Analyst in Corporate Development at Livingston International from 2013 to 2017. Maria began their career as a Data Analyst at RBC Investor Services from 2012 to 2013.

Maria Chen, CFA completed their undergraduate education from 2008 to 2012 at the Schulich School of Business - York University, where they obtained their iBBA degree with a focus on Finance, General. In 2011, they also attended ESSEC Business School to further their knowledge in Finance, General. In January 2017, Maria obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
