Travis W. has a strong background in software engineering, having worked in various roles and positions throughout their career. Travis began their career as an IT Support Specialist at The Greenbrier Companies, where they provided technical support to clients and resolved application issues. Travis then transitioned to the role of Software Support Analyst, where they wrote complex SQL queries and worked closely with the development team to resolve customer support issues.
Afterwards, Travis joined IHS Markit as an Associate Software Engineer, focusing on backend development and creating RESTful API endpoints using C# and .NET Core. Travis then moved on to Rebel AI as a Full Stack Software Engineer, where they built an advertisement platform and utilized Java and Angular for software development.
Travis later joined The CE Shop as a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer and was eventually promoted to Full Stack Software Engineer. During their time there, they worked on various projects, such as building a microservice-based application to integrate Shopify and implementing a new security protocol using Java and AWS Secret Manager. Travis also mentored new software engineers joining the company.
Most recently, Travis co-founded Lucky Roll Studio, where they hold the position of Co-Founder and Head of Engineering.
Throughout their career, Travis has demonstrated strong technical skills and a passion for software development, consistently delivering scalable solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Travis W. pursued their education at Western Governors University from 2018 to 2023 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering. In addition to their degree, Travis also obtained various certifications. In May 2019, they achieved the CIW Site Development Associate certification from Certification Partners. Furthermore, in April 2023, they earned the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the ITIL Foundation Level certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
