Amar Vidyarthi

Amar Vidyarthi is Senior Principal in Career Connections, an alliance with Korn Ferry, where he is a senior member of the Executive Search practice.

Amar joined the firm in 2021 and brings with him over 20-years of business experience working in Kenya, the UAE and the UK. Prior to joining Career Connections, Amar’s work and advisory experience covered a wide range of industries, including media, retail, logistics, hospitality, aviation services, banking and finance , industrials, and fin-tech.

As a corporate financier, Amar advised on several cross-border transactions across the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa, and South Asia. In 2019, as CEO of a large Kenyan printing company, he helped lead a ground-breaking merger between six leading Kenyan printers. He then served as Chief Strategy and integration Officer for the merged business.

Amar is an Accredited Associate Executive Coach from the Academy of Executive Coaching (UK). Amar holds a bachelors degree (BSc Management) and a masters degree (MSc Global Media and Communications) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He also holds a masters degree (MA Global Media) from the University of Southern California.
