Caileen Kehayas Holden

Originally from Yonkers, New York (just a northern neighbor to The Bronx) Caileen grew up a middle child (#6) of ten kids. Likely to escape her brothers, she could usually be found reading, writing stories or taking pictures. Caileen received her BFA in Photography & Imaging from New York University in 2007. A few years later, Caileen left New York for the sunshine and mild winters of California.

In Silicon Valley (and later in Los Angeles), Caileen worked as a content marketer for career-oriented startups, specializing in content strategy and SEO. As she recognized her own career blossoming, she became passionate about the modern woman and her place in the workforce. She started as a freelance writer for Career Contessa in early 2018 and joined the team later that same year.
