Gabe Gurman

Gabe Gurman has over 30 years of experience in the tech industry, starting with AT&T Bell Labs in 1988. Gabe then moved to AT&T in 1995, where they served as Technical Manager. In 1999, they joined IBM Global Services as Director, Engineering/Business Area Manager. From 2008 to 2012, they were Vice President, Engineering at Sparta Systems. Gabe then moved to The Hackett Group as Head of Technology, Workforce & Payroll Management Practice from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they were Vice President, Global Research & Development at LABVANTAGE Solutions, Inc. Gabe also served as Vice President, Product Development and IT at SmartLinx Solutions from 2016 to 2017. Most recently, they have been Co-Founder & COO of career.place since 2017.

Gabe Gurman obtained a BS in Computer Science from Brooklyn College between 1982 and 1986. Gabe then went on to obtain an MS in Computer Science from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering between 1986 and 1988. In May 2019, they obtained a SHRM Recertification Provider from SHRM. Gabe also holds a PMP from PMI.
