Onome Akpodonor has a diverse work experience in various roles. They started working at Premier Hotel in 2018 as a Nutritionist. In 2019, they worked as a Clinical Dietitian at the National Hospital Abuja. They also served as the Health Minister at Queen Elizabeth II Hall, University of Ibadan until September 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Content Writer at Manicle World. In 2021, they joined Black Insure as a Content Writer. In 2022, they worked as a Mentor at Techy Train Incubator Foundation and later as a Freelance Writer at CareerBuddy. Their current role is as a Content Associate at CareerBuddy.

Onome Akpodonor attended The International School, Ibadan from 2009 to 2015, where they obtained their WASSCE certification. Following this, from 2016 to 2021, Onome pursued a BSc. degree in Human Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of Ibadan, with a focus on Public Health.

In addition to their formal education, Onome has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the "Servant Leadership - The Deciding Difference" program from the Young African Leadership Initiative. In 2020, Onome received training in soft skills through the "Jobberman Soft Skills Training" offered by Jobberman Youth Engagement & Learning. They further enhanced their knowledge and skills by completing the "Advanced Content Marketing" course from Simplilearn in 2022 and the "Email Marketing" certification from HubSpot Academy in 2023.

Onome also participated in the "Tech-up Girls" program offered by the Techy Train Incubator, although specific details regarding the month and year of completion are not available.
