Kris Lang-Shasky

Kris Lang-Shasky has extensive experience in career transition consulting and executive coaching. From 2016 to present, they have been working as a Senior Career Transition Consultant and Executive Coach at Careerminds. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2022, they worked as a Career Transition Consultant and Executive Coach at their own consulting company, Kris Lang-Shasky Consulting. Before that, from 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Career Transition Consultant at Lee Hecht Harrison. From 2004 to 2012, Kris held the role of Senior Career Transition Coach at IMPACT Group, where they provided various services related to job transition, relocation assimilation, and career management. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Resource Development and Community Relations at NIP from 2002 to 2004. Kris also has experience in the field of organization development, having worked as the Director of HRD and Organization Development at American Express from 1998 to 2002. Kris started their career at Ceridian, where they worked as the Manager of Career Management Services and Workplace Effectiveness from 1992 to 1998.

Kris Lang-Shasky has an educational background that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of St. Thomas. They also obtained a mini-MBA in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the same institution. In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Human Resources Development from Metro State University and an Associate of Arts (AA) in Counseling from the College of Saint Benedict.

Furthermore, Kris Lang-Shasky has obtained several certifications throughout their career. They completed a course titled "Format Modern Resumes that Rise to the Top in Skims & Scans" at the Resume Writing Academy in February 2023. In August 2009, they acquired a certification in Life Options Assessment from Retirement Options and became a Retirement Options Certified Coach from the same institution in the same month and year.
