Andy Neigel

Andy Neigel serves as President and CEO of CAREERS: The Next Generation since August 2006, providing strategic leadership to promote workforce skills and career options for Alberta’s youth. Concurrently, Neigel is the Principal at Boreal Management Group Ltd., also established in May 2006, which focuses on management and leadership consulting and maintains a contract with CAREERS: The Next Generation Foundation. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. from June 1992 to 2006, culminating as General Manager and Vice President of Operations, responsible for overseeing a large hardwood kraft pulp mill and managing diverse operational relations. Neigel holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry from the University of Alberta, complemented by a Forest Technology Diploma and ongoing executive business education at Queen's University.
