Ann Normand

Ann Normand currently serves as the Manager of SafeGen & Special Projects at CAREERS since August 2023. Previously, Ann held the role of Communications Manager at Millar Western Forest Products Ltd. from December 2019 to February 2023, where responsibilities included issues management, external communications, managing the Public Advisory Committee, and coordinating responses to environmental inquiries. Prior to that, Ann was the Outreach Manager at Alberta Forest Products Association from August 2012 to December 2019, producing content on sustainable forestry practices and managing outreach campaigns. Ann's earlier roles include Program Manager and Communications Specialist within the same association, focusing on forestry education and community engagement. Additional experience encompasses freelance editing, research assistance at the University of Alberta, providing specialized services for children with autism, and volunteering in education. Ann holds a Bachelor of Education in English and ESL from the University of Alberta and a Professional Writing Diploma from MacEwan University.
