Kristy Vassell

Kristy Vassell is a Program Coordinator with CAREERS, focusing on connecting high school students with local employers for paid internships since September 2022. Prior to this role, Kristy served as the Advancement Manager at Family Centre Society of Southern Alberta from April 2017 to July 2021, where there was a commitment to supporting Healthy Children, Healthy Families, and Healthy Communities. Kristy also owned and operated Above The Beyond - Inspired Corporate Events Ltd. from July 2014 to July 2021, specializing in high-quality corporate event planning. Additionally, Kristy has held various roles within BNI Windy City, including Secretary/Treasurer and Event Coordinator. Before these positions, Kristy was the VP of Operations at Dominion Lending Centres Mortgage Excellence from January 2008 to April 2013. Education includes an Extension Certificate in Event Management from Mount Royal University and a Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education from Lethbridge College.
