James Lockett has extensive experience in workforce development and employee relations, currently serving as a Business Liaison at Brevard Workforce Development Board since May 2015. In this role, James conducts outreach to employers to assess their needs and identify training solutions for job seekers. Previous experience includes serving as an Employment Security Representative at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and as Associate Director of Student Services at Keiser University, where James advised students and managed personnel activities. Earlier positions include a Veteran Employment Representative at Brevard Workforce and a Geospatial Analyst in the U.S. Army. James holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science from Barry University.
