Audrey Arthur, MBA, has extensive experience in career placement and volunteer development. Since June 2009, Audrey has served as a Senior Career Placement Specialist at Workforce Alliance, focusing on workshops for job seekers and career coaching. From October 2008 onward, Audrey has held the position of Director of Volunteer Development at Girl Scouts, overseeing volunteer training and membership processes. Prior roles at the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida included Director of Volunteer Development and Director of Membership Services, where responsibilities included recruiting and managing a large team of adult volunteers. Additionally, early career experience included a consulting role with Girl Scouts of the USA, providing training on membership growth and diversity. Audrey holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix, a certificate in Human Resources from Florida International Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilization from Douglass College.

CareerSource Palm Beach County, the nonprofit organization chartered by the state to lead workforce development in the county, serves a region of 1.3 million residents. The organization connects business with talent by providing a comprehensive package of services to help both employers and career seekers. In the last program year, CareerSource assisted 28,000 residents in finding employment ranging from entry level positions to the executive suite, representing a local economic impact of $560 million in annual wages. Specialized services are offered online at our Virtual Career Center or in-person at two Career Centers in West Palm Beach and Belle Glade. The centers offer classes and facilities for job search, career development and consulting along with grants for job skills training – all at no cost to career seekers. CareerSource serves more than 4,300 employers by providing recruitment/assessments/referrals of qualified candidates; space and staff assistance for screening/interviewing candidates; and grants for training employees.
