Ethel Easterly

Ethel Easterly has been working in the career development field since 2008. Ethel began their career at Arbor Education and Training as a Career Specialist and was responsible for providing career guidance and counseling, case management, and helping customers maintain eligibility for services. In 2010, they joined ResCare Workforce Services as a Lead Talent Development Specialist II and a Career Specialist 1. In this role, they recruited clients to participate in programs, ensured eligibility of prospective clients/applicants, coordinated evaluation and job placements of clients/applicants, provided intensive training in employability and life skills, and gathered appropriate data for required reports, files and auditing to ensure accuracy. In 2016, they joined CareerSource Polk as a Program Lead Career Development Specialist.

Ethel Easterly earned their Bachelor of Science in Administration, with a focus in Management, Administration and Marketing, from Lacson College between 1996 and 2000. Ethel has also obtained several certifications, including Supervisor Training and Workforce Facilitator Training in March 2016, Leadership Class 2014-2015 from CareerSource Polk in June 2014, Race to Place Awardee for Outstanding Leadership and dedication from Polk Works Board-CEO in August 2013, ResCare Workforce Services-Career Consultant Certification in May 2012, Dynamic Works Certified Professional in April 2009, Florida Certified Workforce Professional Tier 1, 2, 3 in January 2009, and Certified Florida Notary from the State of Florida in September 2014.
