Robert Smith

Robert Smith, MS, currently serves as the Special Projects Administrator II at CareerSource South Florida, a position held since May 2021. Previously, Robert was a Local Veterans Employment Representative at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, where engagement with employers to enhance employment opportunities for veterans was a primary focus. Prior roles include Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist at South Florida Workforce, Liaison for Standing Joint Forces Headquarters, Military Intelligence Analyst at US SOUTHCOM, Intelligence Collections Manager in the US Navy, and Maritime Intelligence Analyst for the Office of Naval Intelligence. Robert holds a Master of Science in Higher Education from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Norfolk State University.
