Amy Schwab Owens has extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple sectors. Currently serving as an Executive Board Member and Board Member at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since September 2013, Amy is also semi-retired and self-employed since March 2020. In addition, Amy has been a Health and Wellness Coach and President at Life Fitness Management since 2006, and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Owens Counseling since 2005. Previously, from 1978 to December 2000, Amy held the position of Vice President of Merchandising and Design at The Schwab Company, leading a team responsible for the international children's clothing brands Little Me and Mufflings. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology from Frostburg State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Maryland.
