Chris Cole

Chris Cole is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in technology operations and product development. Currently serving as Director of IT - Technology Operations at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since August 2009, Chris manages 24/7 production support and oversees IT change control and deployment services for a subsidiary while supporting multiple Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association plan customers. Previous roles include Director IT, where Chris led strategic direction and agile technical product development for various applications, and Program Director - Technology Delivery, guiding enterprise-wide technology initiatives with a focus on delivering major project portfolios. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President - Business Platform Services at T. Rowe Price and as Principal Consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where Chris provided project leadership and strategic consulting across multiple sectors. Chris holds a degree from the University of Hartford.
