Dana Fowlks

Dana Fowlks has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dana started their career as a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1993 to 1995. Following that, they worked as a Senior Help Desk Analyst at CDI where they analyzed current systems and managed IT projects from 1999 to 2001. Dana then moved on to Baptist Health System, where they served as a Help Desk Supervisor, training users and managing technical services and operations customer service helpdesk for five hospitals and corporate offices from 2001 to 2005. Dana then worked at Karta Technologies as a Systems Analyst, where they helped create standards for a new Help Desk supporting over 100,000 users and provided troubleshooting and feedback for Flash-based education from 2005 to 2006. Dana then joined Probado Technologies as a Data Manager/DBA, working as an area Project Manager and creating reports using SQL queries from 2006 to 2007. From 2007 to 2008, Dana worked at Heritage Health Systems as a Crystal Reports Developer using FACETS and SQL. Dana then worked as a Facets Product Consultant at The TriZetto Group from 2008 to 2011. Dana then joined Amerigroup Corporation as a Business Analyst Principal from 2011 to 2012. Currently, they are working at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield as a Lead Technical Analyst since 2012. In addition to their work experience, Dana has also owned their own business, Dr Smart Phones - Plano, from 2015 to 2017.

Dana Fowlks started their education journey in 1998 at the University of Phoenix, where they pursued a degree in Business of Information Systems with a focus on Information Technology. This program lasted until 1999. In the present, Dana is currently a graduate student at the University of Maryland Global Campus, studying Data Analytics. Their enrollment started in 2023, and it is ongoing. Prior to these formal educational pursuits, Dana did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study at Brigham Young University. Additionally, Dana has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn in various subjects, including data science, statistics, Excel data analysis, SQL development, and database programming. The certifications were obtained between 2020 and 2022.
