Julie Fazio

Julie Fazio, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Program Project Management at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since December 2023. Prior to this role, Fazio accumulated extensive experience at Blue Cross NC from 2015 to December 2023, holding various leadership positions including Director of Portfolio Delivery, Director of Division Operations for Operations and Member Experience, and Chief of Staff to the Chief Operations and Member Experience Officer. Fazio also contributed to command center and operations management roles at Blue Cross NC. Between 2007 and 2015, Fazio was with PetroLiance, LLC as Executive Director of Shared Services and held other positions in supply and customer service management. Earlier career experience includes operations leadership at Garden State Waterproofing & Air Conditioning Inc. and customer care management at ZC Sterling. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from East Carolina University, along with specialized training in distribution leadership and paralegal technology.
