Paul Madigan

Paul Madigan is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in network engineering and cyber security roles. Currently serving as the Lead Cyber Security Specialist at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since 2015, Paul has previously held positions including Network/Application Delivery Engineer at OBXtek, where notable projects involved the migration of a large number of application servers and hardware. Prior experience includes Network Engineering Team Lead at InfoZen, supporting secure infrastructure for the Department of Homeland Security, and Network Engineer at CACI International Inc, focusing on remote access security and migration projects. Additionally, Paul has a background in operational support as a Network Administrator at Ferris Baker Watts and has begun a career in tech support at ARINC Managed Services. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor’s degree in Music-Jazz Performance from Towson University.
