Sara Subbarao

Sara Subbarao has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Sara started their career in 2004 as an Independent Contractor at GlaxoSmithKline before transitioning to a role as a Medical Transcriptionist at ALEXANDRIA FAIRFAX NEUROLOGY, PC from 2005 to 2007. In 2009, they joined NTT Ltd. as a Software Tester and later took on the role of QA Manager from 2011 to 2014. Sara then became the Director of QA & Testing at NTT Ltd. in 2014 and held this position until 2021. During their time at NTT Ltd., they showcased their expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle and demonstrated strong leadership skills. Currently, Sara works at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield as a Software QA Lead Analyst where they ensure compliance with standards and processes, conducts assessments, and evaluates the effectiveness of projects. Sara's work experience showcases their ability to adapt to different roles and industries while maintaining a focus on quality assurance and delivery.

Sara Subbarao earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics/Chemistry/Math from the University of Mysore, which they attended from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their degree, Sara has obtained several certifications, including the CareFirst Inclusive Leadership certification from Electives in July 2023, the CMMI Associate certification from ISACA in July 2022, the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in September 2021, and the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2020.
