Zachary Mower

Zachary Mower is an experienced actuary with a background in health insurance and actuarial analysis. Currently serving as an Assistant Actuary at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield since August 2021, Zachary focuses on provider contracting, value-based reimbursement, and networks. Previously, Zachary worked at Highmark Inc. from December 2012 to August 2021, contributing to COVID-19 modeling and forecasting, actuarial claim reserves, and initiative analysis. Earlier roles include Associate Actuarial Analyst at Coventry Health Care, where Zachary developed forecasting models and maintained corporate reports, and a Graduate Actuarial Intern at Highmark, gaining foundational experience in actuarial duties. Zachary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Mathematics with a minor in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
