Dr. Sam Bendall has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Dr Sam currently serves as the Deputy Director MDOK at Sydney Local Health District, where they are dedicated to improving the wellbeing and professional fulfilment of healthcare workers. Dr Sam previously held the position of Senior Staff Specialist (Emergency Physician) at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital's Emergency Department. Dr. Bendall has also worked as the Director of Education and Retrieval Specialist at CareFlight, as well as in roles at NSW Ambulance, Health Education and Training Institute (HETI), CareFlight NSW, Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as an Emergency Registrar.

Dr. Sam Bendall completed their education in a sequential manner. Dr Sam first attended the University of Otago from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a degree in Medicine under the program MBChB (Otago). Continuing their academic journey, they pursued further specialization in Emergency Medicine by attending the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine from 2003 to 2009. During this period, they completed the Emergency Medicine Specialist Training Program and was awarded the degree of FACEM. Additionally, they also acquired a Diploma in Sports Medicine from The University of Auckland in 2008, further enhancing their expertise in this field.
