Matthew Hurst

Matthew Hurst currently serves as a Crew Supervisor at the Washington State Department of Ecology since November 2023. With a strong background in finance, Matthew has held the position of Financial Analyst and Trader at Barrus Lear Equity since April 2018, where responsibilities include developing trade ideas and executing trades. Additional roles include Staff at Carefree Boat Club since June 2022 and Business Development Manager at On Water Designs in 2023. Matthew's experience with Arizona Conservation Corps spanned from April 2012 to September 2020, progressing from Crew Lead and Americorps Member to Field Program Coordinator and Training and Logistics Director. Matthew earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Western Governors University in 2017-2018 and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Arizona in 2005-2009.
