James Ricketts

James Ricketts is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in television production and creative services. Since co-founding Carefree in 2017, Ricketts has been instrumental in its development as a trustee. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Producer at Tag from 2007 to 2016, Associate Producer at Pioneer Productions and Pictures in 2005-2006, and Marketing Director at Stillking Films from 1999 to 2004. Ricketts also led creative initiatives as Head of Creative Services at Shilland & Co. from 1997 to 1999 and worked as an Editor at Channel 4 for a notable 13-part series titled 'Buzz' during 1990-1991. Earlier in the career, Ricketts began as a Runner at the BBC from 1989 to 1990. Academic qualifications include studies at New York University, Sapienza Università di Roma, and the University of Kent.
