David Violette M.D.

David Violette MD, CWSP, FACS, currently serves as the Managing Medical Director for Post Acute Care at Carelon Health and as the Regional Chief Medical Officer at Family Hospice, overseeing market expansion efforts. Violette has extensive experience in wound care, having worked as a Clinical Wound Care Specialist and held various leadership roles, including Fellowship Program Director and Senior Lead Physician at Vohra Wound Physicians. Previously, Violette provided surgical care as a Staff General Surgeon and Critical Care Surgeon at LEWIS-GALE PHYSICIANS, LLC and completed a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Boston Medical Center. Violette holds an MD from Virginia Commonwealth University and is pursuing an MBA at Clemson University.
