Andrea Halko

Andrea Halko has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andrea is currently working as a Sr. Implementation Project Manager at CareMessage, where they leverage technology to bridge the needs of safety net organizations and underserved populations.

Previously, they worked at FairWarning, Inc for a significant amount of time. In their role as a FairWarning Ready® Program Manager, Andrea sought out partnership opportunities and built alliances with healthcare, enterprise security, cyber security, and cloud software providers. Andrea developed integration and data delivery methods for patient privacy and cloud security solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, they served as a Senior Software Implementation Manager and Program Analyst, providing service, support, training, and development work to FairWarning customers. Andrea was also involved in software development projects and led the FairWarning Ready® Certification program.

Before joining FairWarning, Andrea worked as a Project Manager at Fidelity Information Services, managing projects related to check verifications, warranty services, payment transfers, and specialized financial product offerings. Andrea was an expert in Single Sign-On technology.

Andrea also has experience in academia as an Adjunct Professor at ITT Technical Institute, where they taught Project Management to undergraduate students.

At the beginning of their career, Andrea worked at Lucent Technologies and Avaya. At Lucent Technologies, they served as a Special Billing Project Auditor, creating and maintaining an invoicing system and conducting audits for subcontractor work. At Avaya, they worked as a System Application Specialist, remotely monitoring and troubleshooting voice and data equipment for Fortune 500 clients.

Andrea Halko holds an MBA degree in Computer Sciences, which they obtained from the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2002. Andrea also has a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University, completed in 2009. Prior to their MBA, Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Phoenix from 1998 to 2000. Andrea began their education journey at Eckerd College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Studies from 1994 to 1996. Additionally, Andrea briefly studied Nursing Science at Northern Illinois University from 1991 to 1992.

In terms of certifications, Andrea obtained various professional certifications throughout their career. These include "Creating a Culture of Change" from LinkedIn in March 2020, HIPAA Certification in May 2011, NNCSS (Nortel Networks Certified Support Specialist) in January 2002, and the ESET Cyber Security Awareness Training Certificate from ESET North America in June 2022.
