Kathleen Patrick

CarepathRx Specialty Pharmacy & Infusion Solutions President Kathleen Patrick’s impressive career includes more than 35 years of experience in creating and leading post-acute services, such as infusion, specialty, retail and institutional pharmacy; home health; durable medical equipment respiratory therapy (DME/RT); hospice; private duty nursing; and other senior services. Her primary focus is the growth and expansion of specialty, infusion, retail and institutional pharmacy operations.

Prior to her role with CarepathRx, Ms. Patrick served as the President of UPMC-subsidiary Chartwell Pennsylvania, LP, now part of CarepathRx Specialty Pharmacy & Infusion Solutions. Ms. Patrick’s career with UPMC spanned more than 20 years of experience developing joint ventures with regional and national partners in the post-acute space with the goal of expanding services and increasing overall quality. She also oversaw a national laboratory joint venture and a regional DME/RT joint venture. Prior to joining UPMC, Ms. Patrick spent time in leadership roles with multiple accounting firms, in addition to positions within the manufacturing, retail, and international business segments.

She currently serves as a member of the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) Board of Directors, the Wellsky National Advisory Board, and the Family Hospice and Palliative Care Executive and Finance Committees. Ms. Patrick has been profiled in Entrepreneur Magazine; The CEO Magazine; and O, The Oprah Magazine. She earned her undergraduate degrees in business administration and accounting from Thiel College and her master of business administration from Bowling Green State University.
