Steven Skwara

Steven Skwara has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Steven is currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at CarepathRx since April 2022. Prior to this, they briefly held the position of SVP/Assistant General Counsel at CVS Health in November 2015.

From December 2011 to August 2015, Skwara was the Chief Compliance Officer at Omnicare, where they were responsible for managing all aspects of the corporate compliance program, ensuring adherence to state and federal healthcare laws and regulations. Steven oversaw a team of approximately 30 compliance professionals and reported directly to the Compliance Committee of Omnicare's Board of Directors.

Before joining Omnicare, Skwara worked as the VP of Corporate Compliance at Wellcare from January 2010 to December 2011. Steven also gained experience in private practice as a Partner at Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. from September 2007 to January 2010, and as an Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP from September 1992 to June 1998.

Skwara's earlier experience includes serving as the Associate General Counsel & Director of Fraud Investigation and Prevention at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Inc. from 1998 to 2007 and as a Law Clerk at the United States District Court (D.R.I.) from September 1991 to September 1992.

Steven Skwara attended Yale University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Afterward, from 1988 to 1991, they enrolled in the University of Michigan Law School, obtaining a J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree with a focus on Law.
