Richard Downer

Richard Downer is an experienced technology professional currently serving as the Lead Platform Engineer at Carepatron since September 2023. Prior to this role, Richard spent a decade at Xero, where responsibilities included positions as Lead Engineer, Senior Developer, Infrastructure and Automation Engineer, and Developer. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Computer Science from The University of Auckland, obtained in 2013, and a Diploma of Digital Media from Media Design School Auckland, completed in 2006. Additionally, Richard completed NCEA Level 3 at Saint Kentigern College in 2005.
