Onno Schellekens

Onno Schellekens is the Chair of CarePay International, a previous Board Member of COHSASA, and the founder of Health Insurance Fund. Onno has dedicated their career to improving healthcare in Africa and has been instrumental in developing and implementing standards for safe healthcare in resource-poor settings. Onno is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board for the Medical Credit Fund, which provides loans to healthcare providers in Sub-Saharan Africa. Onno has also served as the Managing Director for PharmAccess Foundation from 2003 to 2018.

Onno Schellekens has a Master of Science from the University of Groningen and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Onno also has a Private Equity and Venture Capital program from INSEAD Asia.
