Allison Mui Mitchell

Allison Mui Mitchell serves as the Director of Advocacy & Communications at ArtsFairfax since February 2022 and holds a position on the Board of Advisors for Care+Wear, beginning in March 2015. Additionally, Mitchell contributes to the Theatre for Young Audiences/USA as a member of the Board of Directors until May 2025, participating in Executive, Strategic Planning, and Communications Committees. Prior experience includes various roles at New 42 from 2006 to 2022, such as Marketing and Communications Consultant and Director of Public Relations. Mitchell also served on the Junior Board of Directors for Dova, Inc./Doug Varone and Dancers and was a Senior Associate at Finsbury. Educational credentials include a BA in Media Studies and East Asian Studies from the University of Virginia and a brief educational tenure at East China Normal University in 2002.
