Rachel Copeland has over 20 years of work experience in financial roles. Rachel is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at CarePoint Health since June 2022. Prior to their current role, they held the same position at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from April 2019 to May 2022. Rachel also worked as the Chief Business Officer at the University of Denver from August 2017 to April 2019.
Before joining the University of Denver, Rachel served as the Chief Financial Officer at the University of Kentucky from October 2012 to July 2017. Rachel also held the positions of Adjunct Faculty and Associate Director of Finance at the same university.
Rachel began their career as a Senior Financial Analyst at the University of Alaska Anchorage from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Analyst at Wedbush Securities from 2001 to 2003.
Rachel Copeland has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Morehead State University. Prior to pursuing their master's degree, they completed their undergraduate education at the University of Alaska Anchorage, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a major in Finance. Rachel has also obtained several certifications, including Business of Healthcare from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in September 2023, Coaching and Developing Employees, Developing Leadership Presence, Communicating with Confidence, and Corporate Financial Statement Analysis from LinkedIn in various months of 2022.
