Leslie Carver

Leslie Carver has a comprehensive work experience that spans across various healthcare organizations.

From 2019 to 2023, Leslie served as the Executive Director at BOSTON HEALTHNET CORPORATION, overseeing and directing the clinical collaboration, finance, and operations of an integrated network of 12 Federally Qualified Health Centers. They were responsible for driving ACO contract performance and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Before that, Leslie worked as the Interim Executive Director, Senior Director of ACO Operations, and Senior Director of Managed Care Finance and Operations at BOSTON ACCOUNTABLE CARE ORGANIZATION INC from 2013 to 2018. In these roles, they led and managed payer contracting, set strategic direction, and developed organizational infrastructure.

Leslie also held the position of Managing Director, Delivery System Contracting at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island from 2011 to 2013, where they were responsible for negotiating and managing delivery system contracts.

In addition, Leslie worked at Tufts Health Plan from 2008 to 2011 as the Director of Commercial Provider Management. Their responsibilities included implementing and managing commercial physician and hospital contracts, developing contract management strategies, and leading strategic planning and network development efforts.

Prior to that, Leslie was a Senior Consultant/Manager at Tufts Health Plan from 2003 to 2008. In this role, they negotiated value-based contract terms and implemented physician and hospital contracting and reimbursement strategies.

Most recently, Leslie has joined the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer starting in 2023.

Leslie also briefly served as the Chief Member at Chief, a private network for women leaders, from November 2021 to October 2022.

Leslie Carver holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management & Policy from the University of New Hampshire. They also obtained a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
