Mutaz Maroun

Mutaz Maroun is a business development manager and acting CFO who has played a pivotal role in identifying and resolving complex organizational issues, developing impactful solutions, and building a high performance culture to ensure delivery of consistent strategic and financial value to business lines.

Maroun has over fifteen years of experience in developing operational infrastructure, leading and restructuring human resources, auditing and reviewing reporting, evaluating investment opportunities, sourcing, negotiating and structuring contracts with business partners, preparing board meeting presentations, and actively participating in planning and execution of strategic projects.

Most recently, Maroun has been working as the strategy and growth manager at Carers App. Prior to that, they worked for Saveto Group from March 2007 to December 2011 where they held the positions of group business development manager and general manager. During their time at Saveto Group, Maroun was responsible for evolving the new business division into a key industry player and for delivering improved business results while optimizing financial processes.

Some of Maroun's key value contributions include maximizing joint venture effectiveness and long-term success as well as evolving the new business division into a key industry player.

Mutaz Maroun attended the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme at the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford. Mutaz also holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Syracuse University - Maxwell School and a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science.
