Melinda Johnston

Melinda Johnston is a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner currently working with CareSouth since October 2019, with a focus on Clinical Services. In addition to this role, Melinda held a secondment position as a Practice Manual Officer, responsible for developing the PSP Practice Manual, and previously served as a Caseworker in the Permanency Support Program for Foster Care. Prior experience includes serving as a University Tutor at the University of Wollongong from January 2017 to October 2019, teaching Social Work, Sociology, and Psychology to undergraduate students, and working as a Transition Mentor in Disability Services to aid students facing mental health challenges. Earlier roles at UOW College included positions as a Student Mentor and Lead Mentor. Melinda holds a Master's degree in Advanced Social Work Practice from Charles Sturt University and both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Wollongong.
