David Richards has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. In 2001, they worked as an eLearning Project Manager at Novell for three years. Following this, they joined Kaiser Permanente as a Project Manager and Online Training Developer from April 2004 to December 2006. In 2005, they co-founded BLISCare, an insurance company specializing in complication protection for bariatric surgeons. During their time there, they also designed the IT system and implemented a training program for surgeons. In 2006, they co-founded dot. (formerly e-Mersion), an international communications and strategic marketing company. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and CEO of CareSpace, a virtual therapy platform that they founded in 2012.
David Richards attended Brigham Young University–Hawaii from 1995 to 1998, where they pursued a field of study in Business/Commerce, General. From 1998 to 2001, they continued their education at Brigham Young University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Multimedia.
