Jim Peters

Jim Peters began their work experience in 1985 in physician group practice and HMO administration. Jim later served as CEO and Executive Director of Alliance Partners, LLC from 1997 to 2012, leading the organization to financial success and improving quality and cost performance. From 2012 to 2019, they worked as Vice President of Provider Network Operations at CareSource Management Group, overseeing various aspects of managed care contracting. In 2019, they joined CommuniCare Family of Companies as Vice President of Value Based Programs, where they developed innovative strategies and programs to improve outcomes for Medicaid members. In 2020, they launched their own consulting firm, Jim Peters & Associates, LLC, where they provided healthcare innovation and management consulting. Jim then joined Cityblock Health in 2022 as the Director of Provider Network & Partnerships, where they focused on developing relationships and introducing the Cityblock brand. Most recently, Jim joined CareStar as the Vice President of Managed Care in 2023.

Jim Peters has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Xavier University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University.
