Samuel G. Jones has a diversified work experience spanning several industries. Samuel G. is currently serving as the CEO & Co-Founder of CareTeam Health since September 2016. CareTeam Health focuses on delivering primary care services directly to clients' worksites, offering cost-effective and convenient healthcare to employees.
Prior to this, from November 2013 to March 2016, Samuel worked as the COO/CFO at eScribe Management Services. During their tenure, eScribe grew rapidly and became the 4th largest provider of outsourced scribe program staffing services in the emergency medicine and ambulatory outpatient settings. The company was eventually acquired by ScribeAmerica.
In January 2012, Samuel took up the role of Vice President, Revenue Cycle Operations at T-System. Samuel G. successfully integrated three strategic acquisitions and built the company into the 2nd largest revenue cycle services company in the emergency medicine industry. Samuel G. achieved 100% client retention during the transition.
Prior to T-System, Samuel served as the COO/CFO at Practice Management Associates from September 2008 to January 2012. PMA was a leading provider of efficient revenue cycle services to emergency physician practices. Set for growth, PMA was acquired by T-System as an entry point to the revenue cycle services space.
Samuel's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Strategic Development at The GEL Group from February 2004 to August 2008. Samuel G. also worked as an Associate at Dogwood Equity from June 2001 to April 2004 and at Wachovia Securities as an Associate between 1998 and 2001.
Samuel G. Jones obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Samuel G. attended this university from 1986 to 1990. Later on, they pursued higher education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. This occurred between 1996 and 1998.
