Mark Barron

Mark Barron currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at CareVet, overseeing operations for over 220 veterinary hospitals and a workforce of more than 3,000 team members since August 2025. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Chief Growth Officer at EyeCare Partners, leading a team of approximately 400 in a $2 billion revenue eye care company from January 2019 to July 2025. Mark's previous experience also includes senior leadership roles at The Riverside Company, where responsibilities involved strategy and business development, as well as investment management for businesses valued up to $400 million. Additionally, Mark worked in M&A at Harris Williams & Co., where involvement included significant transactions. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Dayton and graduated from Desmet Jesuit High School.
