Samuel Leslie

Samuel Leslie has extensive work experience in the software engineering and IT fields. Samuel began their career in 1998 at Information Concepts as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed and maintained mission critical Web and Client-Server applications. In 2004, they moved to Novus Consulting Group as a Senior Software Engineer, where they helped develop custom ETL components in Java and design and implement a snowflake data warehouse in Oracle. In 2007, they joined IBM Digital Cloud as a Senior Technical Lead, where they were responsible for the design and development of RESTful APIs to support the IBM Universal Cloud Marketplace. Samuel then served as the API technical expert on the team and was responsible for the integration of the Partner Marketplace with the SoftLayer portal. In 2016, they moved to Perthera as a Senior Technical Team Lead, where they were the Director of IT and Development group and oversaw the team responsible for all application development and technical support for the company. Most recently, they are the Director of Engineering at careviso (Formerly CMT Solutions).

Samuel Leslie obtained a BS in Marine Biology from Western Washington University between 1983 and 1986. Samuel then went on to earn an MS in Biology from the same university between 1986 and 1989. In 1990, they completed their PhD in Zoology from the University of California, Davis.
