Val has worked in the care sector for 25 years, after graduating as a mature student in Sociology and Social Policy and pursuing her interest in the community care system by joining a local care company as a care worker and soon progressed to Co-ordinator, Training Manager and Service Manager to become the senior management in quality and compliance. Later joining a care home group 15 years later but coming back to care at home after 2 years
